Elections Candidate Forums
HYC has extensive experience running youth-accessible, moderated, community election forums in local and general elections — stretching back to our first candidates meeting in the 2014 general election. More recently, we've run candidate forums in the 2020 general election, 2019 local elections and 2018 Howick ward by-election. We also collaborated with other youth councils in Auckland to produce Recruit Your Mayor in the 2019 mayoralty elections.
