Learn more about HYC's East Auckland Visual Art Showcase 2020

For its third year running, it's HYC's East Auckland Visual Arts Showcase! We want to give young artists in our community the opportunity to show off their work — whether it be painting, sculpture, animation, photography, mixed media, or more.

This year, we have introduced two main categories: Themed Art and Open Art. For the very first time, we are offering a chance to submit art that relates to the theme: ‘Modern and Traditional Connection’.

Check out youth.org.nz/hycvisualart for more details and a chance to display your artwork at the Malcolm Smith Gallery at Howick's Uxbridge Arts & Culture Centre.

Sign-ups are now open until 17th May! ⁣

The East Auckland Visual Art Showcase is proudly supported by the Howick Youth Council, Uxbridge Arts & Culture and Arts Out East — the Howick Youth Council is supported by the Howick Local Board.
